Anyone who knows Ontario knows our summers are hot and long. For us, cool indoor spaces are a must. Fortunately, Smart Ontario is bringing HVAC systems to City facilities.

Solar panels will power some of these new air conditioning units, further reducing environmental impacts while keeping you cool and healthy. However, these new HVAC systems won’t just keep you cool.

They’ll also actively clean indoor air using Centers for Disease Controls-approved MERV 13 filters. This advanced filtration traps viruses, bacteria, allergens and pollutants, reducing chances of sick days and discomfort during allergy season. Paired with outside-air economizer controls that exhaust stale indoor air while bringing in fresh outdoor air, City facilities will have clean air and comfortable temperatures for you to enjoy year-round, especially on blistering summer days.
